Amazing Grays
Adventures and fun are not just for the youth of Louisburg Baptist Church! The Amazing Grays is a group of active older LBC members (55 years and up) who have dinners, go on outings, and spend quality time together. Check out our calendar of events to see what exciting things this group is up to! Sue Leonard organizes events for this group and would be glad to answer any questions you might have. Sue can be reached at 919-496-4336.

Baptist Men
Our Baptist Men organization is a mission minded group of men at Louisburg Baptist Church neeting on the first Wednesday night of each month for dinner at 6:00 pm in our fellowship hall. They enjoy a great meal, wonderful fellowship, and an inspirational program by a speaker from our community or someone involved in Baptist missions in our state and beyond. It is often through this group that some of our more "hands-on" mission work occurs in service to our community. Perry Faulkner is the current president and can be contacted at 919-496-5840. All men are invited to come and participate!

Up-coming Mission Opportunities!
The Baptist Men are participating in Operation Inasmuch this year on Saturday, October 24th with a project for our community - to be announced. Contact Perry for more information.

They will also be helping with two special dates coming up for the Louisburg Soup Kitchen, A Blessing. They will partner with others from our community in helping to prepare a Thanksgiving lunch to be served out of the Louisburg College cafeteria on Thanksgiving Day. And our Baptist Men along with the Women of Purpose and any of your youth available to help, will undertake to serve a Christmas lunch to those who visit A Blessing on Monday, December 21st! Two great opportunites to share God's love.

One of the Baptist Men's annual joys is to provide their own contribution to the Tar River Baptist Association's Christmas Family Ministry - usually a large number of brand new shiny bicycles and helmets. Can't you just see those bright eyes and expressions of joy on Christmas morning right now?

THE BAPTIST MEN TAKE ON A NEW MISSION!
Our Baptist Men are partnering with our Women of Purpose to help provide a lunch on the first Monday and Thursday of each quarter at Louisburg's new soup kitchen called "A Blessing." Our volunteers will shop for food, prepare it, serve it, and clean up after the meal. So far, A Blessing has been able to feed a growing number of about 30-40 people in need of this meal each day that it is open. If you would like to volunteer your help for this mission, please call Perry Faulkner, President of our Baptist Men.
