Louisburg Baptist Church strives to provide a supportative and encouraging atmosphere in which our children can grow spiritually and experience the love of Jesus through christian education.

We provide Sunday School beginning in the nursery through the 5th grade. You will find qualified and creative teachers who love working with children and who make Sunday School hour a time that your children will look forward to each week.

We also have TeamKID on Sunday nights at 5:00 when the children sing, learn to play their Kristal Bells, prepare for Children’s Sunday and their Christmas program, and learn more about Jesus and his love. The Children’s Ministry is led by Michelle Harris, and the children’s music is led by Sandy Rushing.

Soup Kicthen

Our Children's Ministry participated alongside some of the ladies of the church in providing a meal at our local soup kitchen on Monday, August 2.They helped with desserts and also had a snack pack to send along with each diner for later in the day. Thank you children! You served God in a big way that day!

Relay for Life

The Children’s Department sponsored a steak dinner in April with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society’s local Relay for Life effort. We are SO proud of our children!

Pool Party

Our children did a fantastic job leading in our worship service for our annual Children’s Sunday! They were rewarded with a cookout and swimming party that afternoon at the home of Barbara and Ray Hyman. Looks like they had a great time! Congratulations to these talented and energetic kids!

VBS

Our children participated in "High Seas Expedition" VBS which included a
kick-off swim and pizza party, supper at church each night, singing,
learning, crafts, snacks, and finally a fun commencement program. They
learned and had a LOT of fun too!
