Louisburg Baptist Church celebrated July 4th in great form beginning with a
church-wide breakfast at 9:30 am in our fellowship hall. Our fantastic
cooks, Carl Eason, Ray Hyman, Bill Cary, Brian Miller, Perry Faulkner, and Sandy and
Rev. Rushing prepared a full country breakfast that included eggs, sausage,
biscuits with sawmill gravy, grits, orange juice and coffee. We then moved
to the sanctuary to worship with a service of patriotic music and a
meditation by our pastor. Everyone was out and on their way to the rest of
their cookouts, family gatherings, and fireworks by 11:30! What a wonderful
day of celebration of our great country and all that it means to us!
