Dec - The Christmas Dinner-Theater Production of "Virgil's First Christmas"
Our women and our children's ministry provided a meal at our local soup kitchen "A Blessing" on Monday, August 2nd. The adults provided the meal and the children helped with dessert and also had snack pack to send along with each diner for later in the day. Thank you to everyone who served that day!
Louisburg Baptist Church celebrated July 4th in great form beginning with a church-wide breakfast at 9:30 am in our fellowship hall. Our fantastic cooks, Carl Eason, Ray Hyman, Bill Cary, Brian Miller, Perry Faulkner, and Sandy and Rev. Rushing prepared a full country breakfast that included eggs, sausage, biscuits with sawmill gravy, grits, orange juice and coffee. We then moved to the sanctuary to worship with a service of patriotic music and a meditation by our pastor. Everyone was out and on their way to the rest of their cookouts, family gatherings, and fireworks by 11:30! What a wonderful day of celebration of our great country and all that it means to us!
Our church enjoyed a "High Seas Adventure" during our wonderful week of VBS
on July 19 - 22!
