Sunday, June 27th at 7:00 pm – The Chancel Choir will present their annual patriotic program, “This Is America”

July 11th at 4:00 pm - Church-wide picnic at the home of Lynda and Parker Lumpkin. Tickets will be sold in advance at a nominal charge. We will kick off some fishing and porch sitting (and who knows what else) at 4:00 and get around to some great food by 6:00. You will NOT want to miss this exciting annual event full of wonderful fellowship and fun in a great setting! Ya’ll come!

Sunday, July 18th – Thursday, July 22 – Vacation Bible School – Our VBS theme this year is HIGH SEAS EXPEDITION. We will have classes for all ages, including adults. Kick-off for the children will be Sunday, June 18th right after church at the home of Barbara and Ray Hyman. Monday through Thursday, the children will begin at 5:30 with supper and then on to their classes at 6:00. The adults will have supper from 6:00 to 6:30 after which they will go to their class. Bring your neighbors, family, co-workers, and friends to share in the learning and fun!

Monday, August 2nd and Thursday, August 5th – LBC Ministry at “A Blessing” Soup Kitchen
It will be our privilege to prepare and serve a meal at the soup kitchen on August 2nd and 5th again. And this time, our children will be learning to serve alongside the adults during their summer break from school!
